- not aware that everyone on this newsgroup knows perfectly well those guidelines
- have absolutely nothing to do with anti-discrimination legislation, which is
- the whole subject of discussion? You do not have to qualify under those
- guidelines to receive protection against discrimination; only to received
- affirmative action protection, which no one in their right mind has ever
- claimed homosexuals should be eligible for anyhow.

- Wrong. Read that first amendment again. It says nothing whatsoever about
- discrimination. It simply guarantees the government won't establish a state
- religion, nor will it prevent you from exercising your own religion. It says
- absolutely nothing about the right of a private citizen or business to
- discriminate based on religion; separate civil rights laws were set up to cover
- that.
