  20. LOS ANGELES -- Gay and Lesbian activists from around the country ended
  21. a three-day conference here Sunday unsure of whether to call for a 
  22. national boycott of Colorado to protest the state's recent approval
  23. of an anti-gay referendum.

  25.   "At this point, we are neither condemming nor condoning a boycott of
  26.   Colorado," said Bruce Pfrommer of Colorado, one of more than 1,100
  27.   activists who attended the fifth annual Creating Change conference
  28.   over the weekend.  "We want to be real careful about what we're doing
  29.   here...There's a lot of concern that we don't rush into a call for
  30.   a boycott," Pfrommer said.

  32.   Cheif among those concerns is fear that a boycott would hurt businesses
  33.   and communities that opposed Colorado's Amendment 2, a constitutional
  34.   amendment that rescinds gay-rights ordinances in Denver, Boulder, and
  35.   Aspen and prevents state or local governments from passing any such
  36.   protections in the future.  ...
