- I do not expect to see that happen. Historically, the Democrats solve
- that problem quite handily -- they just print more money. So, I do
- not expect to see defaults on the payments, just inflation in the
- double and perhaps triple digit range.

- With a bit of luck we could start another Republican era by booting
- many of the long-term Democrats from Congress and get a Congress that
- understands subjects like Economics and World Trade. With term
- limitations to keep Congress relatively youthful and with a line item
- veto to keep the number of pork-barrel amendments under control, then
- we might have some hope of have a Government rather than a Political
- System.
