- I'd say that the MP's would have to pay for their staff out of the
- salary (making the salary appropriate: say $2-3 per voter (basically
- take what parliament now costs and divide it by the number voters)),
- or make the allowance for staff be proportional to the votes they get.

- This would have the effect of usually only the top 2-4 delegates going
- to parliament, except for the occasional rich crackpot who got 10
- votes. To deal with crackpot MPs, you would probably want to limit
- access to debate, question period, etc. to some function of the votes
- the delegate has.
