  17. I am writing a paper on environmental regulations in the USA, and would be
  18. grateful if anyone could lead me to some information about the following:
  19. 1) Effectiveness of USA govt. regulations and enforcement
  20. 2) The "major" govt. regulatory agencies and regulations
  21. 3) Definitions of pollution
  22. 4) Major pollutors (industries, countries etc)
  23. 5) Environmental problems facing the USA (and the world), how do US businesses
  24.    contribute to the problem and the solutions
  25. 6) Estimates of the costs of environmental regulations to businesses
  26. 7) Estimates of the costs (direct and indirect (of pollution/environmental

  28. 8) What businesses (if any) gain from environmental regulations
  29. 9) How does the USA compare to the world (regulations etc.)
