  20. Those who are interested in Drosophila genetics, stocks and other info 
  21. can find a wealth of information available over the Internet, by
  22. using Internet Gopher to ftp.bio.indiana.edu.   We keep there
  23. Drosophila data bases and the emerging FlyBase compendium
  24. of Drosophila genome information.

  26. Thru Gopher you can search several of these databases for known cytological
  27. locations (and other things).  There is a clone database, as maintained
  28. by John Merriam, that may answer this particular question.  Michael Ashburner's
  29. Flybase includes accession numbers of the sequenced Drosophila genome
  30. linked to cytological locations.  You might also find help in the other 
  31. data sections also.
