  12. I'd like to second the request for actual statistics on 2222...

  14. Arguments of RR2222's need for improvement aside, I think we all agree
  15. that police presence is too low, traffic criminals are coddled and that
  16. typical drivers are incompetent.

  18. Our roads and highways are like war-zones.  WORSE!  Look at the national
  19. stats -- we;ve been trough wars with fewer casualties.  A drive up 183
  20. is about like a stroll through a city street in Bosnia-Hercegovina.

  22. Our law enforcement agencies are overburdened, mismanaged and seemingly
  23. disinterested in taking the REAL steps that are needed to make the roads
  24. safer.

  26. I saw a news piece about a guy (in Chicago, I think) -- a doctor -- who,
  27. armed with his camcorder and cellular phone patrolled the streets
  28. reporting dangerous drivers and recording their actions as evidence
  29. against them...
