-
- Actually, I don't have time for TV. I think I watch a total of 5 minutes
- a week, and that's while eating a bowl of cereal or something.
-
- Obtaining a phone number and calling is a *low-investment* way of
- checking if they're home. Of course, *69 might prevent such thieves
- from randomly calling houses now, but the danger still exists.
-

-
- Uh, that does require some intelligence to wing up a good reason, right
- then and there. (My bias is showing) I don't think that people who turn
- to a life of crime will be exceptionally blessed in the thinking on the
- fly department. At least not the ones who turn to burglary, anyway.
-
- >how many people do you
- >let into your house without knowing them? party or not...
-
- Haven't you ever been to a party where you didn't know the person giving
- it? I've been to some of these, and I've been at parties where crashers
- tend to wander in. As long as there's plenty-o-beer and the crashers
- look like they know what they're doing, no one can really tell nor do they
- care.
