- This is exactly the latest proposals I've heard. Per-call blocking and
- a blocked call rejection system that doesn't ring your phone when caller
- ID is blocked. This sounds like it would answer your objections and the
- objections of people who want to block caller ID.

- Incidentally, I have lots of stuff to hide from you. My phone number is
- NOT one of them but many people don't want to give out their phone number.

- Getting the phone company to provide the service you want is NOT a right.
- If you don't like the service your getting you can complain or even
- refuse to do business with them but you do NOT have the right to get
- the service you want. Having said that I agree that if they have caller
- ID then they should have per-call blocking. And if they have blocking
- then they should have blocked call rejection.
