- This is, of course, complete and utter bullshit, as anyone who's ever read
- _The Cuckoo's Egg_ will tell you. I suspect they were attempting to tell you
- that it wasn't worth their time to follow up on it. Depending on whether it
- was the police or the phone company who told you this, it sounds like a fine
- example of either Your Tax Dollars At Work or that good ol' phone company
- customer service.
