  19. Having collars and straight shoulders makes the Starfleet uniforms more
  20. military.  However the shoulder padding looks awkward for the actor who
  21. plays Riker; he's a big man and the padding makes him look stiff.  Dr.
  22. Crusher's costume is more casual and in line with a consulting doctor
  23. outfit.

  31. Brent Spiner's (Data) makeup is less severe than before; I didn't
  32. realise the difference until I watched the flashback scenes in ``Shades
  33. of Grey'' (yeah, I was bored).  Data now looks more human (though he
  34. always has perfect hair styling).
