- Having collars and straight shoulders makes the Starfleet uniforms more
- military. However the shoulder padding looks awkward for the actor who
- plays Riker; he's a big man and the padding makes him look stiff. Dr.
- Crusher's costume is more casual and in line with a consulting doctor
- outfit.

- Why does Cnr. Troi have so much lip gloss compared to Dr. Crusher? Is
- there something about being a Betazoid?
-
- Brent Spiner's (Data) makeup is less severe than before; I didn't
- realise the difference until I watched the flashback scenes in ``Shades
- of Grey'' (yeah, I was bored). Data now looks more human (though he
- always has perfect hair styling).
