- If you see Dragon's Egg in the bookstore, get it! It is worth the read
- (There is a sequel which is also good.) Character development in the novels
- is not very good, but the concepts in the book are very interesting (possibly
- because Forward is a physisist (sp)).

- As for similarities between that & the TNG episode-slight. You picked the
- main similarities (v. fast time perception & cultural development because
- of size), but there is not really anything else similar about the two.
