- I used to actually live about 5 ks from that site. I knew it was there before
- I moved to Bangor. Its been there longer than ive been alive. If I climbed the
- fence at the playing field at the top of the street I could see HIFAR..

- It was there first. If people cant be bothered to check what sort of industy
- is just down the road before they move in , then they cant complain. Naturally
- real estate agents 'neglect' to mention that Australia's only Nuclear
- instalation is just down the road.

- I think the issue is more money that anything else. If the site was shutdown
- Landcom and developers would make a killing out of all the prime land it
- would free up. They look at those views over the river and the $$ light up
- in their eyes.
