- In article 9143@ucsu.Colorado.EDU, Kenneth R. Brownsberger <brownsbe@ucsu.colorado.edu> () writes:
- >I've heard a rumor that aerial wolf hunts are scheduled to begin
- >again soon in Alaska ... the justification being the usual tripe about
- >trying to increase the Moose and Caribou populations by removing
- >their natural predators. Does anyone have any hard FACTS on this?
- >Is this rumor true? Who is responsible for this decision?

- I read the same story in the NY times today. A friend called the Sierra
- Club, they said to write the govenor:
-
- Gov. Walter J. Hickel
- P.O. Box A
- Juneau, AK 99811
-
- I wrote a strongly worded note stating I would boycott any tourist
- travel to his state if he went through with this. Perhaps a flood
- of these letters will help... who knows.
