- I'm sure you've heard this before, but it's _your_ life and your decision.
- Not theirs. They way you say "shatter their lives" makes it sounds like it
- would be your fault. I disagree. If they can't cope with you being
- yourself, it is their fault, not yours. I'm not saying you should pick
- option #1 or #2, just that maybe you're assigning (hypothetical) blame in
- the wrong place.
