  13. To all non-gorbys
  14.       I am about to finally take the plunge and buy a board.
  15. In the past I have rented/borrowed boards in the 7'4 to 
  16. 7'0 range.  I have used these in a number of places in the 
  17. Pacific Northwest from Oregon to Long Beach, Vancouver Island.
  18. I want something that will be useful in many different conditions
  19. over the next few years.  I will be surfing from here to Central 
  20. America over the next year.  For instance I have never used one
  21. but think that a 6'8 seems to be useful in many areas without 
  22. being too difficult for a beginner.  Any ideas?
