- That would be odd, since it isn't true. Elizabeth Tamposi, the
- political appointee who was fired for doing the search, has said that
- the White House ordered it done.

- Now, granted, she could be lying to cover her own rear, but since she
- was a political appointee (a friend of John Sununu's), it's hard to see
- a clear distinction. And besides, somehow I can't see someone doing
- this on their own, without authorization from the White House.
