  23. Actually, my opinion of Lee is drawn entirely from his movies and from the
  24. comments he has made in the press.  I'll agree that Helms has him beat in
  25. terms of actual racist action taken, but not in terms of racist opinion
  26. espoused.

  28. Lee is, by his own admission, a racial separatist.  He thinks that inter-
  29. racial marriages are a mistake for several reasons, one of which is that
  30. it would weaken black strength.  He believes that AIDS is a government
  31. engineered disease designed to destroy undesirables (implicity, blacks).
  32. Lee made racist caricatures of Jews in his film "Mo' Better Blues".
  33. Those are only a few examples.

  35. The only thing that pisses me off more than straight, unqualified racism
  36. is hypocritical racism.
