  24. However, it is _also_ true that many women are having abortions for 
  25. financial and emotional reasons that are very important.  Abortion-rights
  26. advocates don't want abortion to be used as a method for avoiding
  27. responsibility, but they (and I) believe that the *possibility* of
  28. abortion must remain open for those occasions when it may be the best
  29. choice.
