  13. "Angel of the Morning" was originally a hit for Merilee Rush in the mid
  14. 60's - I think it was 66 or 67.  The song was written by Reg Presley, who
  15. was a member of the Troggs and also wrote some of their hits i.e. Wild
  16. Thing, Love is All Around, With a Girl Like You.  The second hit version
  17. was in the early 80's, I think 81 or 82, by Juice Newton.  She had been
  18. around a while previous to this, but had not had any chart success until
  19. Angel of the Morning hit.  After that she had several hits on pop and
  20. country but I am not sure what is going on with her currently.
