  14.  I am conducting a survey to find the greatest lineups for
  15.  bands playing in various styles (Eg the greatest lineup
  16.  for a blues band, the greatest lineup for a metal band).
  17.  Members can be dead OR alive.
  18.  
  19.  I am posting this to most music style related news-group.
  20.  I am excluding certain newsgroups such as alt.fan.rush
  21.  (or whatever) because it concentrates on one particular
  22.  band. I am excluding other musical styles such as rap
  23.  because instruments are rarely used and classical because
  24.  there are too many intruments.

  44.  When posting please tell me what type of band this lineup
  45.  is for. Please also choose appropriate musicians for the
  46.  musical style (John Lennon was a genius but don't put him 
  47.  in a hardcore band).

  49.  All band lineups must have a maximum of six members. The
  50.  lineup MUST have a core of a vocalist, lead guitarist,
  51.  bass player and drummer. If one of the members of the
  52.  lineup is multi-talented (Eg Sting, bass player and
  53.  vocalist) that member will only count as one member. But
  54.  the band should be able to play live so somebody able to
  55.  play guitar and drums is useless. A vocalist that can play
  56.  harmonica and rythm (Eg Neil Young) is not useless as they
  57.  can coordinate their playing. You get the picture. Some
  58.  bands would probably be better served by having more
  59.  members but I don't care, I want to keep it reasonably
  60.  simple. Any extra members will not be included.

  64.  longer than a month. I will post the result soon after I
  65.  close the survey but may also post updates.
