- I didn't particularly care for the Sinclair/Golby/Daisly/Box/Kerslake
- stuff - too mainstream hard rock. Nothing spectacular.
-
- I *do* like most of the John Lawton era material (Firefly, Fallen Angel,
- Innocent Victim - in order of preference). They moved from the heavy
- fantasy to a more mainstream format, but it still sounded like Heep -
- and the Lucifer's Friend touch was also there.
-
- The only albums I would stay away from would be High and Mighty (complete
- trash - Why does John Wetton ruin every band he is in ??????) and
- the Live in '79 CD (sounds like Heep on speed - too fast, no soul).

- Tear in My Eyes. Hensley on a wicked slide - check out the version from
- the live album. Also the album with the *classic* July Morning with
- Manfred Mann doing the electronics at the end.
