- Dark videos, mopy lyrics, and black clothes do not a goth band make.
- I can define goth in 2 words: Joy Division. And if you need some further
- references to go along with it...I'd suggest Bauhaus and the Sisters of Mercy.

- As far as influence goes Roxy Music has to be way up on the list. Just
- take a look through the Roxy video history and check out where some of the
- early 80s most succesful MTV bands got there ideas. (ABC, Adam Ant, Duran Duran,
- etc.) Remember, thats where Eno got his start as a musician, so you can
- indirectly map all the people he's worked with, including Talking Heads,
- DEVO, and U2 back to Roxy.
