  23. Yeah, but don't forget Warwick, potential big hair capital of them all.
  24. And then there's Seekonk, although not in Rhode Island it should be.  With
  25. a name like Seekonk you can almost smell the hairspray.

  27. Seriously, there are things to miss about RI.

  29. --    You might not think so, but people are friendly.  Pretty down
  30.     to earth, compared to CA.
  31.  
  32. --    The Bay, Newport, Little Compton, Jamestown, Point Judith etc.
  33.     Marshes, beaches, and water without sharks in it.
  34.  
  35. --    East Side of Providence.  Thayer Street, Big Alice's, Brown/RISD
  36.     museums, Cable Car cinema.
  37.  
  38. --    Food like Quahogs (stuffies & other), clamcakes & other seafood,
  39.     decent pizza, cabinets, coffee milk.
  40.  
  41. --    Duckpin bowling and rollerscating.  You don't have to do it, just
  42.     so long as you know it's there.
  43.  
  44. --    Nightlife from Trinity Rep to Club Baby Head.  Handy to Boston.
  45.  
  46. --    Decent Army/Navy surplus stores.  Record stores like Tom's
  47.     Tracks, In Your Ear, Goldies.  The Arcade.  
  48.  
  49. --    The Independent Man & the Pineapple on Federal Hill.
  50.  
  51. --    Rhode Island Accents.
  52.  
  53. Not to mention the bitchin' economy, mafia hangouts, widespread corruption,
  54. dense population etc.

  56. NOTICE:  The world outside of Rhode Island isn't much better.  If you're 
  57. thinking about moving somewhere (like CA) to look for a job, forget it.
