- Its that David guy again from CWRU....
-
- This is how it is....

- ICE CUBE-- The Predator
-
- The thing that I like about this one is how he manages to still
- come up with original, imaginative samples. Some might ask, "What
- is an 'original sample?' But there is skill in choosing what sample
- to use and how to use it.
-
- Y'all know its dope, so go out and get it. It does not help by
- me saying that I thought it was live, phat, dope stuff like that.
- I'll leave that to those folks on this group who post those long
- reviews discussing every detail. In an effort to avoid redundancy,
- I'll move on....

- Malcolm X-- the movie, and both soundtracks...?
-
- Hmmm... The interesting thing about this is how I can express my views
- about the movie in this post without violating the terms of this group.
- Hmmm... How about this:
-
- Before I went into the theatre to see MALCOLM X, I stopped by the
- record store. I picked up Ice Cube (and bought it), then I picked
- up Malcolm X "music from the movie" This was some type of Jazz
- compilation of music from the movie. It did not seem like anything
- that a hip-hop, reggae junkie like me would have liked. Then, there was
- the Motion Picture Soundtrack... This is the one with "Revolution" on it.
- This is the only hip-hop track on it.
-
- I have five minutes before I get kicked off, so let me post this and
- I'll be right back.
-
- See ya..
