  20. The thing that I like about this one is how he manages to still
  21. come up with original, imaginative samples. Some might ask, "What
  22. is an 'original sample?' But there is skill in choosing what sample 
  23. to use and how to use it.

  25. Y'all know its dope, so go out and get it. It does not help by
  26. me saying that I thought it was live, phat, dope stuff like that.
  27. I'll leave that to those folks on this group who post those long 
  28. reviews discussing every detail. In an effort to avoid redundancy,

  33. Malcolm X-- the movie, and both soundtracks...?

  35. Hmmm... The interesting thing about this is how I can express my views
  36. about the movie in this post without violating the terms of this group.
  37. Hmmm... How about this:

  39. Before I went into the theatre to see MALCOLM X, I stopped by the 
  40. record store. I picked up Ice Cube (and bought it), then I picked
  41. up Malcolm X "music from the movie" This was some type of Jazz 
  42. compilation of music from the movie. It did not seem like anything
  43. that a hip-hop, reggae junkie like me would have liked. Then, there was 
  44. the Motion Picture Soundtrack... This is the one with "Revolution" on it. 
  45. This is the only hip-hop track on it.
