  25. You're confused. There's nothing that says that Cube's record company is
  26. obligated to distribute all of his material. I'll even bet that when he
  27. signed his contract (you better believe there was one) there was a clause
  28. reserving the right to ask for changes, deletions, etc. That's the price
  29. you pay for getting paid.

  31. Now if Ice Cube distributed his cut on self pressed records and tapes from
  32. out the back of the trunk of his car, and his company said "You can't do
  33. that, this stuff is indecent." then you have censorship.

  35. The hip-hop community needs to learn this lesson with a quickfast.
  36. Constantly shouting "CENSORSHIP!" when *somebody else* decides to not
  37. distribute your stuff is 1) ignorant and 2) creates noise that drowns out
  38. real cases of censorship.
