- House of Pain is one big front. They've got slammin tracks, courtesy of
- Muggs, but the rest of it is all a fronted style. I wish they were
- true, but when you see Everlast on his first album looking like Rocky
- Balboa with perfect hair, and then on his next one looking like a
- hardcore leprechaun, you've got to start to wonder. I still listen to
- the tape because it's got some good stuff on it but it's real
- disappointing when you realize that the Irish homeboy talk on the album
- is all contrived just to sell records. People bust on Marky Mark for
- comin off like he's hardcore (don't get me wrong, I do too because he's
- fake as hell) but not many realize what's going on with the House of
- Pain. If I'm wrong about this, and the earlier Everlast style was fake,
- but the one now is true, then inform me and disregard the above.
