  31. Well, I don't listen to a lot of EPMD, except for a few of their hits, 
  32. basically, so I wouldn't know too much about the Hit Squad sound.  That's
  33. why some of this album's beats appealed to me just by how funky some of 
  34. them were.  Redman does say some fucked up things on the album, but his
  35. whole hook is that he was dropped on his head as a kid and is all messed up
  36. in the head for that reason.  Granted, he does go overboard at times, but
  37. it's a pretty strong debut, IMHO.
