- Well, I don't listen to a lot of EPMD, except for a few of their hits,
- basically, so I wouldn't know too much about the Hit Squad sound. That's
- why some of this album's beats appealed to me just by how funky some of
- them were. Redman does say some fucked up things on the album, but his
- whole hook is that he was dropped on his head as a kid and is all messed up
- in the head for that reason. Granted, he does go overboard at times, but
- it's a pretty strong debut, IMHO.
