  22. art is subjective not because it lacks intellectual discipline, but 
  23. because its all from one persons point of view. (excepting of course the 
  24. multipersonality disorder victims) truth is subjectiv no matter where it 
  25. is found, because it is true only to that particular person and therefor 
  26. also based on one persons point of view. art takes a great deal of 
  27. concentration. to sculpt something you mist have absolute tunnel vision 
  28. and be able to exclude EVERYTHING but the sculpture. it allows not only 
  29. for a person to step outside of personal experience, but to experience 
  30. what another person is feeling, thinking, and how they perceive reality. 
  31. try looking at a good painting sometime. if youre in the same frame of 
  32. mind as that person, you understand EVERYTHING that they have put up 
  33. there on canvas. it isnt a picture, but a visual story. usually, however, 
  34. you dont come across art that good, because as ayn rand's philosophies 
  35. intended you to realize, good art is not welcomed. makes the other guys 
  36. look bad. 
  37.         anyway, the whole point of art that is done because it MUST be 
  38. done is that it takes the unspoken things of a human and crystallizes 
  39. them in a display for people to see. by the unspoken i mean feelings that 
  40. have no adjectives and colors that have not yet been named. to describe a 
  41. feeling is much different than if you were to paint it. and theyre just 
  42. as hard, but art is more expressive.
  43.         art, i suppose, is the true "science" of emotion. and its just
  44. as hard to capture as an emotion...well..if you didnt understand me, you 
  45. probably dont understand art, either...so..just ignore me, please..
