- Carol, you must realize that it is possible that e-mail will be directed
- back toward you at anytime that you post in any newsgroup. There is a
- function in every newsreader that will e-mail a reply to a post. If you
- would rather not have people send you mail, then you must take steps to
- make it harder for people just to hit the 'R' or 'r' key for most readers
- and e-mail you. One of these is filling in the "Sender: " line. The
- best for this "/dev/null", or "junk", or something else of that nature.
- Of course, this won't stop everyone, but will deter most of them...

- didn't specifically ask, but when you post, you throw out your email
- address for everyone to see. There are people that are going to e-mail
- back, for whatever reason.
