  17.      Hi.  I'm a male college student living near Columbus, Ohio.  I'm
  18. majoring in Engineering Physics at OSU.  I'm very interested in science
  19. and technology, particularly pertaining to space exploration and
  20. colonization.  I've always had a fascination for science, but until
  21. recently I was under the impression that I hated math (in fact, I love
  22. it), which is why I'm still an undergrad at age 22.

  24.      Naturally, I _love_ science fiction literature and film, but I
  25. certainly don't limit myself to that genre.  My literary interests
  26. extend from pulp SF&F to Dostoevsky, Doyle, Rand, Natsume Soseki, and
  27. classic children's literature (I'll always be a kid at heart--at least,
  28. I hope so!).  I'm also interested in the cinema, and I enjoy "serious
  29. film" as much as popular movies and low budget flicks a la Joe Bob
  30. Briggs.  My musical tastes are equally eclectic, ranging from Mozart
  31. to Ministry.

  33.      I enjoy camping, exploring the outdoors, dancing at progressive/
  34. industrial clubs/bars, ethnic foods, and good conversation!  I'm always
  35. interested in trying new things (anything at least twice!).  I'm very
  36. interested in other cultures, particularly Asian and African, and I've
  37. had three years of Japanese language in college.
