  13.     It's sad but true.  The first post was seen by far too many
  14. people.  Despite the attempts to get the facts out and let people know
  15. that Craig Shergold no longer wants these cards, thousands upon thousands
  16. of new cards have already been sent to the Post Office, a virtual tidal wave.
  17. It is expected that this posting to usenet will result, directly and indirectly,
  18. in over 13 million additional cards to the Shergolds.  This has gone on
  19. long enough.
  20.     Executives for the Royal Marsden Hospital have met with the
  21. publishers for the Guiness book, the United States Post Office, and none
  22. other than our own Vice-President.  After hours of conferring, this group
  23. reached only one solution to stop this onslaught of ridiculous mail:  Craig
  24. Shergold must be 'eliminated.'
  25.     Top lieutenants for the Morolto family in Chicago have been dispatched
  26. to find Mr. Shergold as soon as possible.  The Moroltos estimate that the
  27. job could be completed as soon as Thursday, December 19th.  While the
  28. Administration and Buckingham Palace have officially stated that they "do
  29. not condone" such violence, they have both, off the record, admitted that
  30. this was the only feasible method of 'unclogging' the two nations' postal
  31. systems.  Both President Bush and the Queen plan on attending the funeral.
  32.     The parents of Craig are distressed by this peculiar turn of events,
  33. but, like the governments, acknowledge that this is "probably the only way
  34. out."  While Craig's parents blame neither the governments nor the Hospital,
  35. nor even the Morolto family for the contract on their son's life, they are
  36. particularly embittered at Mr. Jack Johnson (email: Jack.Johnson@iphase.infoserv.com) for adding the final straw to the camel's back.

  38. Mr. Johnson.
