  24.     That reminds me of a political cartoon I saw recently in the local
  25. paper about (yet another) government inquiry (you can tell that we're governed
  26. by lawyers...).  A man was getting out of the water screaming "AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
  27. HUNDREDS OF LAWYERS!!!!!!"

  31.     Law school reminds me of an old Jay Leno Doritos commercial:  "Don't
  32. worry - we'll make more."  :)

  34. Peeve:  A lot of law students.  Almost as arrogant as engineers, but most of
  35.     them know less than engineers do about computers.  For example, a couple
  36.     of years ago (pre-law school) when I was working in the computer labs
  37.     here, I warned a law student that the system was slightly unstable and,
  38.     as a result, they should save their work often.  They said, "Oh, I don't
  39.     care - it's only a couple of pagesi, so I didn't bring a disk."  They
  40.     went to it and, sure enough, the Mac crashed just as they were going to
  41.     print their 10 page masterpiece.  When they came to me to find out what
  42.     was wrong, I told them that their Mac had crashed and, as a result, 
  43.     their document was gone.  They replied, "But it can't be!  It's due in
  44.     10 minutes!"  They then tried to blame the entire incident on me, even
  45.     though I warned them earlier about the instability.  Feh.

  47.     Actually, Bill, send 'em up - they might slip on the ice and kill
  48. themselves, thus making more business for us Canadian lawyers.
