- Somebody sucked my gas tank dry last night. The locking cap apparently
- wasn't screwed on tightly enough. I went to bed with half a tank of
- gas/petrol.
-
- Today I wake up and head off to a 7:30A.m. engagement but run out of gas
- at just about THE halfway point seven miles down the road and I have to
- walk about a mile and a half in the rain with no macintosh and no umbrella
- to get more gas. The first place had no gas can to either sell or loan me
- so I had to continue on to the next place.
-
- Didn't even have any rubbers with me for all the good they would have done.
-
- Bastards (lovely word) stole my gas cap or threw it into oblivion, too,
- and it was a $15 locking type.
-
- So I was late and soaked. Fun stuff.
