  34. You're right that it is a formal argument, but unfortunately you parody the
  35. position in such a way that you make it seem as though all those who conclude
  36. that X is a rapist pig-dog must hold principle (B) above, "All men
  37. are rapist pig-dogs."  The preferred form of the argument, among those who
  38. do not own up to prinicple (B) is:

  40. Socrates is a rapist pig-dog.
  41. You are a rapist pig-dog.

  43. Therefore, Socrates is a rapist pig-dog and you are a rapist pig-dog.

  45. The advantage of this argument is that one can deny that one thinks that
  46. all men are rapist pig-dogs and thus seem reasonable on Donahue or
  47. Oprah, and yet be able to conclude about any man in particular that *he*
  48. is a rapist pig-dog.
