  18. No, actually, I'm a victim of hormones.  Yes, Girls have 'm, too. Even
  19. NICE Girls (so I'm told).  You see three years of monogamy with someone
  20. with whom I get along just great, but with whom I am not & never have
  21. been in love, have rather left my hormones in an uproar.

  23. Peeve:  The elusive nature of love.  You'd think that if you found
  24. someone with whom you are perfectly compatible, and who's totally
  25. crazy about you, you could work it out to fall in love with them 
  26. without too much trouble, instead of getting about as excited by
  27. them as you do by tepid tapioca.

  29. And, no, it's not a question of NICE guys getting all the girls.  I've
  30. been turned on by plenty of NICE guys, and Greg isn't particularly nice,
  31. actually, he's pretty nasty sometimes.  It's just that he's my perfect
  32. counterpart, and it would've been nice if I felt about him the way he
  33. feel about me.
