  38. long ago. The only reason why we have yet to invade Canada is that you
  39. are amusing. Next to Brian Mulroney, even James Earl Carter looks
  40. good, peanut farmer cracker he may be. Why your little country has resisted
  41. becoming the next ten states for so long still puzzles us. If anything
  42. you and your countrymen have persisted in toadying to the various kings
  43. and queens of Britian longer than any of the other subjects of the crown.
  44. Clearly running Canada as a colony was not profitable but the crown
  45. kept it on as a reminder of what their very own citizenry once was.
