  13. InformationalPeeve:  For those of you who don't know, the noble
  14. citizens of Colorado just approved a state constitutional amendment
  15. (No. 2) making it illegal to pass laws barring discrimination against
  16. gays and bisexuals (Yes the language looks garbled - somebody else
  17. can explain it to the dollhouse gang).  That such an amendment would
  18. pass is peevesome in itself.

  20. LanguagePeeve:  You should have seen the legalese gobbledygook on the
  21. ballot.  Many who wanted cast a vote to make sure that evgeryone would
  22. continue to receive legal protection, were reduced to chanting the
  23. "no on 2" mantra in the voting before they could figure out which
  24. hole to punch.

  26. MainPeeve:  The boycott.  Yes, the day after the vote, PC types all
  27. started chanting "Boycott Colorado, boycott Colorado, they're all
  28. BAD!"  Now for the peevesome part;  Most of the places which
  29. will be hurt by a travel ban to Colorado, are the cities which voted
  30. against tacking this vomitous piece of hate-filled spew onto the
  31. constitution.  For example:  I heard on the radio this morning that
  32. some major convention which was supposed to take place in Denver next
  33. summer, is going somewhere else.  Guess which way Denver voted?  
  34. Same thing with skiiers.  If ski travelers bypass the state for,
  35. say, that hotbed of tolerance Utah, Aspen suffers.  This makes
  36. perfect sense, since it was the first city in the state to pass gay
  37. rights ordinances.

  39. SecondaryPeeve:  Who are they to dump on our state?  Is everything so
  40. perfect and politically correct in the rest of the country?  Let's see...
  41. There are still sodomy laws on the books in many states (MAJOR Peeve!).
  42. Lets list all those states and boycott them!  The so called rust belt
  43. has all those nasty industries which pump out all that pollution.  Boycott!
  44. LA has a basically racist police force.  Boycott California!!  I'm sure
  45. we could come up with reasons to boycott any state one would care to
  46. name.

  48. RelatedPeeve:  Colorado Springs.  This fair community is where this
  49. nasty little glob of bile originated.  Over the past few years, 
  50. Colorado Springs has been actively encouraging no-necked, pin-headed,
  51. bible thumping, "Praise the Lord and pass the collection basket",
  52. MoralNazis from all over the US to move in and set up shop, thereby
  53. making the rest of this more or less reasonable state look like it
  54. belongs down in the bible belt.

  57. put together a lawsuit to get this idiot thing thrown out.
