- Peeve: People who assume that the fact that I'm blocking the fast lane
- is related in any way to a self-righteous attitude.
-
- I'm actually blocking the fast lane because I got my license 2.5 weeks
- ago, and am valiantly attempting to improve my driving by, *gasp*, driving.
- My abject terror, however, prevents me from changing lanes very often,
- because I'm scared that I'm going to hit someone. Therefore, I tend to
- get into the lane that I want to be turning out of as early as possible.
- Thus, I end up driving at the speed limit or slightly above in the fast
- lane. (Luckily for the other drivers, I am usually not driving
- very far in any case, thus preventing them from getting really
- angry with me for more than 5 minutes.)
-
- !Peeve: I'm going to get lots of driving practice next month, which
- will no doubt serve to make changing lanes much easier for me.
