- Peeve: Went to the doctor today. Three more weeks in a cast. After that,
- the cast definitely comes off. Then X-rays. Then there's a possibility
- that he'll put *another* cast on, although a smaller one.
-
- Peeve: The Christmas commercials are on TV.
-
- Peeve: It won't be long before the Christmas "specials" and all of
- *their* associated ads hit the screen.
-
- Peeve: Serious crimps in my sex life caused by a cast and other
- extenuating circumstances that, as always, are none of your business.
-
- Peeve: Needing assistance to get my lunch tray from the cashier to the
- table.
-
- !Peeve: The cashier wears patchouli.
-
- Peeve: Spouse wanted to buy wallpaper today. I didn't get to my favorite
- pub and feel sorry for myself over several pints of John Courage Amber.
-
- Peeve: Wallpaper.
-
- Peeve: Lauch Faircloth.
-
- Peeve: alt.rock-n-roll.classic has just started up here, and so far the
- articles are all about Led Zeppelin. Sorry, that just ain't classic
- rock in my book.
-
- Peeve: Guilt-trips laid on by the folks and the in-laws when we tell them
- that we aren't making the 7-hour trip to Atlanta for Thanksgiving because
- my leg will still be in a cast. I can sit in the car in exactly one position,
- and I ain't doing that for 7 hours.
-
- Peeve: Now they want us to come home for Christmas.
-
- Peeve: Dalhousie and their discovery of this group.
-
- Peeve: Fine. Just fine. See if I care.
