  12. It's been tough finding much to bitch about recently, what with the superb
  13. New Mexico fall weather (70+ degrees, clear, and old Sol making ozone) and
  14. all. Just when I was prepared to have a crappy day Saturday (the battery died
  15. in the Taurus), I blundered into the War Eagles air museum in Santa Theresa, 
  16. New Mexico.

  18. Fine, fine, fine!

  20. A Warhawk. A Corsair. TWO Mustangs. A Lightning. A Texan. A Shooting Star.
  21. TWO Mig-21s. A B-25. A Wildcat. A C-47. A Pitts(?). And several others, as
  22. well as old cars - a Packard, Auburn boat tailed roadster, Chivy army car,
  23. old Caddie, and even a '67 T-bird. Airplane engine displays, including RR
  24. jets. Videos. Souvenier shop with airplane books and T-shirts.

  26. The P-38 was particularly cool, one of only eight flying examples left.
  27. Glossy black with polished aluminum panels on the gear doors. Gorgeous.

  31. Mesa exit west and check it out. $4 admission, open until 4:00 PM.
