  27. Agreed, and I'll add one more:  A comprehensive training program comparable 
  28. to that for a pilot's or FE's license would help to cut down on the ego and 
  29. emotional involvement a lot of people have when it comes to operating a motor 
  30. vehicle, because it would help them become more reason- and procedure-oriented 
  31. and less impulsive.

  33. In practical terms, it would reduce the instances of such things as people 
  34. self-righteously blocking the fast lane and refusing to move over because by 
  35. God, they're doing the speed limit, or becoming overly emotional and doing 
  36. stupid, inconsiderate and dangerous things in general.

  39. hard to grasp.  (I hear that phrase a lot...)

  43. crashed this afternoon, and this is what I ended up with in the way of a 
  44. fix.  Imagine: an Open Look-interface newsreader!  I feel like a kind on 
  45. Christmas morning.
