  18. I'd be interested in seeing it.  Not speaking wholly for myself,
  19. why is it that decent guys, when not totally ignored, get treated
  20. with all the consideration of a used Kleenex while complete jerks
  21. have women fawning over them?

  23. At 1 am this morning I'm having coffee at an all-night restaurant
  24. and I overhear a waitress say "All the available men are either
  25. gay, married, or broke".  Resisting the urge to respond, I think
  26. about a company I worked for not long ago which had 30 women and
  27. 3 men in it (including myself).  This place was a classic demon-
  28. stration of how many women consistently choose losers.  Every day's
  29. conversation in the lunchroom brought the latest update on what a
  30. particular loser had done.  One woman openly debated on whether she
  31. should get back together with her boyfriend, now that he's getting
  32. out of jail, because he didn't have a job.  And he takes drugs, he
  33. beats her, and he steals.  Hmm.  Tough choice, eh?  Admittedly, that
  34. was the extreme case, but the others complained either about their
  35. guy being an alcoholic, beating them up, or whatever.

  37. So why do women choose to live with these guys?  My theory is that
  38. these men, scumbags as they are, do have good looks and exude a
  39. charm that turns women on.  Regardless of their past transgressions
  40. and mistreatment, they seem to be able to talk their way into
  41. forgiveness again and again.  They are good at getting sympathy
  42. and evoking what I believe are women's instincts to "save" these
  43. losers.  Unfortunately, women believe the guy can be changed.

  48. at 150 mph with complete assurance I won't get a ticket for it.
