  27. "children are precious" and "children are precious gifts from God" are not the
  28. same thing.  Despite some of the nitpicking I've seen, the real dispute is over
  29. the place where those two claims differ.

  31. "children are precious" doesn't need to be proven.  As you noted, it would be
  32. ridiculous to ask for any sort of verifiable proof of such a thing.

  34. "children are precious gifts from God" has an extra clause tacked on the end.
  35. You're trying to fudge around having to prove that extra part by appealing to
  36. the lack of a need to prove the first part.
