  11.         On October 2, Los Angeles County authorities attacked en masse a large
  12. ranch owned by a reclusive multimillionaire in the Santa Monica mountains
  13. in (get this!) Ventura County, based on aircraft evidence that marijuna
  14. might be present.  They burst into the house, seized his wife, and then
  15. found him in the bedroom with a gun.  Shot several times and killed him.

  18. seize the property, but couldn't find marijuana or anything else.
