  11.     This is an oobe I had a while ago.  It kind of involves joint oobe,
  12. which has come up recently.

  14.     BTW, this happened on Halloween of '91, but not that it matters.
  15. Anyway, I decided to have an astral travelling experience while my friend
  16. watched over my body.  I am able to remain in contact with my physical body
  17. while I'm "out", and so I wanted to narrate my experience as best I could
  18. for my friend.  A lot of my oobe's have involved seeing a symbolically 
  19. colored path.  This time, the path was green, and led through a serene
  20. forest.  I wandered along the path for awhile, then felt a pulling sensation
  21. that accelerated my motion until the trees were a blur.  I slowed down, then
  22. stopped outside a small clearing.  There was a man in a (you guessed it)
  23. green robe.  He was old, bent over, but exuded an inner strength that belied
  24. his age.  He raised his head, made eye contact, and motioned me into the
  25. clearing with his gnarled staff.  I moved into the clearing, drawn by his
  26. gaze.  He set his hands on my shoulders, and pulled me close enough to
  27. whisper, "There is something important I must tell you, but I will wait until
  28. you come alone". I saw his eyes watching the side of the clearing I had
  29. entered on, and when I started to turn to look, he motioned for me not to.
  30. I came back to my body, woke up, and asked my friend what all he had heard.
  31. Apparently I hadn't said anything after entering the clearing, but he then
  32. said that he had decided to follow me astrally after I had entered the
  33. forest.  He had been standing at the edge of the clearing, watching me and
  34. the man in the green robes, but had darted off when the man saw him.

  36.     I never went back to the green path, and probably never will, but
  37. this is one experience I will never forget.

  39.     I would accept comments gratefully, but please don't try to analyze
  40. my experience.  I know what happened.
