  20. My remark was not directed personally at Robert.  My suggestion is to every-
  21. one involved in the discussion.  I'm suggesting that we "get down to cases,"
  22. and that whoever is interested in really talking about this subject analyti-
  23. cally agree to read some certain books, or certain agreed-on sections thereof,
  24. so that we can fairly evaluate what is said.

  34. All well and good.  I'd just personally prefer to start with something
  35. written by someone who is more "in tune" with the experience itself, and
  36. who has, in Lorin's words, "been swayed to a belief."  We may want to
  37. ourselves evaluate the belief, and Blackmore's writings might be helpful,
  38. but I'd just like to start with something by someone who is more "sympa-
  39. thetic" to the notion that there may be something other than mental events
  40. going on in OBEs.
