- Yes, me again. :)
-
- a prime example of the above occurred during a weekend lunch rush this summer.
- a guy orders two of the Big Mac extra value meals. I take the complete order,
- go draw drinks for him, etc. there are no Big Macs, so I call two back. two
- come up while I am getting the fries--boom! they're gone. I call them
- back again. again, soon as they come up they're gone because I was still
- assembling the rest of the order while I was waiting. To be fair, the guy
- that ordered was very patient, and since he saw what was going on he was
- pretty understanding--after all, we were rushed pretty bad. But when I
- finally get the Big Macs that I had called back 5 minutes ago, this guy's
- friend comes up to me, gets in my face, and says in a rather nasty tone,
- "I thought you said this place was fast." this was of course accompanied
- by a rude glare and a couple snide comments from this yahoo on the way to his
- table.
-
- Give us a break, folx. Once I started working at McDonald's, I quit bitching
- about picky things like this in a hurry because I finally understood what
- McD's workers<and Wendy's and Burger King workers and so on> go through
- just to try to satisfy the customer.
-
- Oh well.
