- I can't teach you how to get that snake up, as I am unqualified. For
- that I would suggest you find someone teaching kundalini yoga. I can
- tell you why I think there are all these warning-labels on kundalini
- raising.
-
- This I have partially verified in my own experience. This energy,
- whether it's kundalini or something else, amplifies the power of your
- thoughts. If you normally get a little bummed by something, you will
- get really whacked out if you're doing this meditation. If something
- makes you happy normally, now you get positively blissed out. So if
- you've got any self-destructive tendencies, and most people I know
- seem to have some, raising the kundalini is very problematic.
-
- If you are not totally tight, if you are not impeccable, to use
- Castaneda's language, it's like having a nervous twitch when you're
- driving a Ferrari at 180 mph.
-
- For this reason, to 'protect' people from themselves, most of those I
- have seen writing or speaking on kundalini advise a seeker to find a
- qualified teacher.
