- Are the sparc 2's running that exact same OS as the Sparc 10?
-
- I have noticed what might be a related problem. When I run the
- precompiled lemacs 19.3 on a Sparcstation/SunOS 4.1.2/OW-3.0, I see
- problems with the hostname that the icon displays. It reads
- "emacs@watergate". This looks like a fairly random value for a
- machine that is called "bandit" to be printing. (It's never bothered
- me that much so I've always been glad it didn't try printing the
- string at 0xffffffff or something like that.)
-
- Recompiling the lemacs on that particular machine isn't easily
- doable, so I haven't played with it beyond that.
