  20. Are the sparc 2's running that exact same OS as the Sparc 10?

  22. I have noticed what might be a related problem.  When I run the
  23. precompiled lemacs 19.3 on a Sparcstation/SunOS 4.1.2/OW-3.0, I see
  24. problems with the hostname that the icon displays.  It reads
  25. "emacs@watergate".  This looks like a fairly random value for a
  26. machine that is called "bandit" to be printing.  (It's never bothered
  27. me that much so I've always been glad it didn't try printing the
  28. string at 0xffffffff or something like that.)

  30. Recompiling the lemacs on that particular machine isn't easily
  31. doable, so I haven't played with it beyond that.
